Are you ready to undertake the most exciting and challenging experience of your life? There are a few easy requirements that must be met before you can take to the skies.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires you to:

• be at least 16 years old to solo an aircraft (you can start training at any age).
• be at least 17 years old to apply for a private pilot license.
• pass a routine medical exam. Allowances may be made for many physical limitations.
• have the ability to read, speak, and understand English.
• Students must be able to prove citizenship. US citizens are required to provide proof of citizenship by a birth certificate with photo ID or valid US Passport. This documentation must be provided prior to the first flight.
• International students must complete a Transportation Security Administration background check. Please check with the school for details.

Hub City Aviation requires you to:

• Complete our application for admission
• Sign our rental/student agreement
• Provide a photo ID
